Social Network Marketing gives individuals/companies a precise platform to reach there target audience in a cost effective way. This precise targeted method allows social networks to start a dialogue with clients that already have a vested interest in there product or service. This allows marketing campaigns to be aggressive and direct with promotional information because clients already have a relationship with the product or services. This information can be presented by creating incentive programs, social networking groups, fundraising and sales. What do you go online for? Do you go online to check if people are walking to the grocery story or are you looking to find relevant information for your life? Do you want to know about news, events, sales and special bargains or do you want to know whether the CEO of your favorite company is eating ice cream with his daughter? Finding a balance between the company and clients relationship is vital to a social media campaign.

It is always good to test the waters before implementing a marketing approach by conducting questionnaires, research, understanding competition and outside variables. But the most important resource you have is reviewing the dialogue you started with your clients because within this interaction shows the strongest trends of your business. Without a proper research approach individuals/companies will not see the growth that you expected.
